Streetcourt Broekpolder (2005).
A new residential district has been built in Beverwijk. Valuable archaeological objects were found on the site at the start of construction and because of this it was decided to preserve an area for future archaeological discoveries. In this area the archaeological treasures are remaining where they can best be preserved: under the ground. The area has been set up as a park that includes a work of art that also serves as a skateboard facility. The final object resembles labyrinthine foundations, which refer to the archaeological history. Contemporary items have been put in the concrete in order to surprise the archaeologists in the distant future.
