Thor/Balder/Odin (2005).
Thirty-six modern, detached houses have been realised within the historic ‘De Veste’ urban development plan. With their two rows they form what is known in the neighbourhood as the ‘statue gallery’. The houses all have the same very flexible ground floors while the make up of the floors above differs for each house, creating a series of sculptured structures. The impressive internal flexibility of the houses makes them suitable for all age groups, even those requiring care. Starting with the construction, the entire design was set up very economically and efficiently but still succeeded in generating its own, individual image.
